THE BOBBER DIFFERENCE

A fishing forecast.
With your experience
built in.

Bobber compares conditions with your own past catches in the area you choose. The closest matches show you where you caught fish before and which factors line up.

See the catch behind the suggestion. Understand the match. Decide where to cast.

Your history is the evidence.

A match is a starting point, never a guarantee. More catch history gives you more evidence to work with. Similarity scores compare conditions; they aren’t catch probabilities.

Frequently asked questions

What makes Bobber different?

Bobber starts with your own fishing history. It connects your located, dated catches to available environmental conditions, then helps you find past catches that resemble the conditions in the area you want to fish. The reasoning stays connected to a catch you can revisit.

Do I need a big catch history?

No. Start with a catch, a waypoint, or a photo. Your logbook is useful from the start, and a growing history gives personal matching more evidence to work with. With only a few catches, treat matches as early clues.

Does Bobber guarantee where I’ll catch fish?

No. Similar conditions don’t guarantee the same result. Bobber shows historical matches and the factors behind them to support your judgment. Conditions and data coverage can change.

Can I bring in my existing catch photos?

You can import photos from your library. Available photo time and location metadata help give the catch context, and you can review or add details yourself. A dated catch with a location can be enriched with available historical conditions.
